THE ARTSTORM AEROSOL ARTPARK
ArtStorm strives to give affirmation and a sense of value to the kids on the street. The organization is structured to give participating artists the experience and dignity that accompanies the sale of one's own handiwork in the community and to encourage the development of artistic skills in a productive, community building environment.

Easel Area Workspace
In the center of the ArtStorm Aerosol Art Park, SPF:a designed a unique Easel Area Workspace with 52 artist workstations. Artists can obtain canvases and paint from an attending staff member and work at one of the double sided easels lining a 250 ft long workspace. Overhead, a semi-transparent canopy provides protection from direct sunlight, but allows natural light to thoroughly penetrate the working environment. The space features 26 two sided easels, (52 painting surfaces), each mounted on an 8 foot vertical pole. The reusable easels support framed or other canvases, which the artists will later take home or sell at the park. The support poles line up along a rail system, so that staff can slide all the easels into a secure room when the park closes.
